Sonoma County Market Update
Here is a snapshot of the August Sonoma County housing market stats!
➡ Median Sales Price was $850,000, up 2.9% year-over-year.
➡ Average Days on Market increased +21.6% from this time last year.
➡ The number of properties sold was down -15.7% year-over-year.
Historically, August often has a lull in real estate market activity with hot weather, summer vacations, and kids prepping to return to school.
This, combined with the two week MLS blackout, is most likely why we saw such a big dip in home sales and an increase in days on market. I expect we’ll see these numbers rebound a bit this month.

Looking for a Place to Get Fresh Eggs From Happy Hens?
Pay a visit to Wise Acre Farm in Windsor. Pasture rotation is the key to their healthy flock. Their custom built mobile coops are moved every 2-4 days, giving the chickens access to new grass. Fun fact: each carton features a bio on one of the hens. How do I know? I buy their eggs from their vending machine at Tierra Vegetables!
